Threads of Hope: Empowering Women through Skill Development
Uriah Welfare Organization’s Sewing Center is more than a training facility it’s a place of empowerment, confidence, and change. Here, women from marginalized and brick kiln families learn valuable stitching and embroidery skills that open the door to financial independence.
Many of these women once felt powerless, limited by poverty and circumstance. Through our vocational training, they now earn their own income, support their children’s education, and stand with pride and dignity. Each stitch they make is a symbol of resilience and faith.
Our trainers not only teach sewing techniques but also provide life skills and motivational guidance. The program helps participants understand their worth, their potential, and their ability to bring positive change to their families and communities.
We believe that when a woman is empowered, an entire family thrives. The Sewing Center continues to grow, welcoming new batches of learners eager to start a better chapter in life.
