Life Changing Testimony
Evangelist Patras Boota
Evangelist Patras Boota, I was born on June 3, 1993, into a brick kiln family. My father worked in brick kilns for more than 40 years. We lived a life of poverty and hardship, but we were rich in faith. My parents taught me about God, the Bible, and prayer, even when we had nothing else. My father always said, “God can do everything, and He makes all things possible for us when we ask Him in faith.” From childhood, I had a deep desire to study the Bible and serve God. I watched other children go to school every day while I worked in the kilns. One day, I went into my room, knelt before God, and cried, “Heavenly Father, why can I not get an education?” I made a promise to God that if He gave me an education, I would use it to serve Him and help children like me go from zero to hero.

From Zero to Hero
God’s Purpose in My Life
The very next day, God answered my prayer. A Christian teacher named Samuel Gill came to our house and offered to help me study. My father gave permission for me to join The Lord Public School, and from that day my life changed. Sir Samuel Gill supported my education until his death. By God’s grace, I completed Grade 9 and 10 from the Lahore Board, then studied F.Sc (Pre-Medical) at FC College Lahore, and later completed my B.A. from Punjab University.
In 2012, I began teaching at CEC Girls High School and also opened a small evening school. While visiting poor families, I discovered that more than 90% of children were extremely vulnerable—many had lost one or both parents, and most had no opportunity for education.

Choosing God’s will
Purpose Over Position
On February 8, 2013, I opened my own school with a vision to serve brick kiln and street children. At the same time, God placed a strong burden on my heart for the spiritual revival of the Christian community in my area, which was suffering and discouraged.
While praying and fasting, the Holy Spirit called me to full-time ministry and reminded me of my childhood promise. Although many people laughed at me and advised me to choose a high-paying career, my parents encouraged me to follow God’s will.
I began preaching the Gospel in brick kilns, villages, and poor communities, organizing prayer cells, youth meetings, and Sunday school programs. God was opening doors and transforming lives.

Helping the helpless
Hope Through Learning
Today, by God’s grace, I am a servant of Jesus Christ, working to bring education, freedom, and salvation to the poorest people of Pakistan.
In obedience to God’s calling, I established Uriah Welfare Organization, based on His Word:
1 John 3:18
“My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
Mark 9:23
“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
This is my life, my calling, and my commitment — to love in action, to educate the forgotten, and to lead souls to Christ.
